From arts and crafts to cyberspace... The lyrical feel to the pieces is achieved by a style best described as hi-tec William Morris, a great exponent of craft based technique of the 19th century, whilst creating pieces which complement the modern technologies of the 21st.

Michael Reed's design and cabinetmaking workshop was set up in 1976, and remains in the same location in Notting Hill, London. Although many of the commissions are centred around the film and video district of London's Soho, just 15 minutes away from the workshop, individual items as well as suites of furniture are exported to Italy, Thailand, Hongkong, the Carribean and U.S.A.
